Terror-cotta Warrior Zombie Command

More of the wonderful 'Terror-cotta Warrior Zombies!!' by 'John Jenkins Designs UK', this time the command group.  A little more macabre, particularly the improvised drums hanging around the musician's next.  Painted in exactly the same way as the earlier post ('Terror-cotta Warrior Zombies!!') with the possessed, fiery red eyes lifted shamelessly from Paul's amazing 'Terracotta Terrors'.

These chaps did allow for a little indulgence in the gore stakes, which I duly lapped up!  Now we just need to discover who is controlling these ceramic cadavers,

the fires of hell  burning in the belly of these ancient zombies, whose flickering and flaming eyes bring instant fear and paralysis to all who dare gaze upon their kiln hardened bodies.
(thank you Jay!)

Just how will Holmes, Shaggy and Baskerville cope?

  1. I love the concept of a command structure within a group of zombies – haha.

    1. Mmmm - good point! Perhaps less zombie and more demonic possession then! ;)

  6. It's great when you get to paint something that is really quick to do and yet still looks fantastic. As Tamsin mentioned, must be nice after all those washes and metalic work with you recent posts.

  9. Oooh! Very nice! Maybe they need an overlord in a chariot to command them?

  16. Hi,

I'm putting together a, unofficial Warhammer army for the Chinese-inspired Cathay race and have been trawling the internet for cool/good ancient Chinese miniatures. Unfortunately, while John Jenkins' range were the best out there, they seem to have been out of production and supply for some time now. I've found Perry Miniatures' Korean range a good substitute for the most part, I'm still hoping against hope than I might be able to get my hands on some of the John Jenkins range.

In my search I came across your post here, and thought I might take a stab in the dark and ask:

    1) If you have any the John Jenkins Chinese range still around, specifically the Terror-Cotta Warriors (or any others)?
    and if so,
    2) Would you be willing to sell any of them? If so, name a price and we'll work from there.

If not, thanks anyway for your time.

    Regards,
    Chris
