I appreciate that this may appear all too similar to a previous post, but I can assure you that many more hours have been spent toiling away, not to mention more blood, sweat and tears shed in finishing these off.
Closing in on the finishing line now and hope to bring this little project to a natural conclusion soon. As before, Great War Miniatures' Crimean range, available through Northstar Military Figures.
Cracking!!! I´m trying to work out how you will base the "fallen" one.
ReplyDeleteFlashman...brilliant series..they had it on radio4 a year or two back...well funny
Cheers

Very nice Sir! Great Tartan again. Detail on the Socks look great.
ReplyDeleteContinued gallic excellence Michael! You've clearly based these guys as singles for skirmish play - what rules will you be using?
ReplyDeleteIt's the first time I have seen these GWM figures painted and you have done them justice.
ReplyDeleteSuperb painting on something not always easy to get right(Tartan and socks).
These are some of the best painted miniatures I've seen anywhere for a while.......
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the positive feedback gentlemen. @Scott, I started painting these far to long ago when I was very much just finding my feet. I am now painfully aware of my naivety with regards to basing but have a cunning plan, which I hope to unveil in the not too distant future. I've recently got my hands on a copy of Black Powder but been such a novice it my take a while before I get my head round all the intricacies of game play.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderfully painted my friend and is nice to see more of them. Bravo
ReplyDeleteWorth every minute of it as they really look great!

Excellent work Michael, they have come up a treat!!
ReplyDeleteWow...stunning, Michael...great painting, basing...the whole package.
ReplyDeleteThis is outstanding work Michael. Love the look of them. Just saw the how to guide on the tartan in your previous post as well and you make it look real easy. Thanks, great painting
