Paint Table Saturday#11

Just the briefest of posts from 'Awdry Towers' as I'm planning a productive morning on the brushes, as I understand the expression goes!  I had to remove some pieces before this photograph was taken as they have yet to feature in '4th Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge', but we can see some 'Heroic' looking Celts and a smattering of Matabele tribesmen - a taste of what's planned for the next couple of  weeks.

Photobomded by a Spinosaurus - whatever next?

    1. You don't really think it's this tidy normally? I know this photo has been staged - after many visits, I know for certain there is something missing from this photo. The painting table at Awdry Towers is never without........a cup of tea!!!

      Pip pip

    2. Thank you Mr Smillie, it has to be kept relatively under control as it is on our dining room table!

As for the tea, it is just out off shot on the left of the picture, safely placed on my Charge of the lLight Brigade coaster!

  6. That is a cheeky looking Dino sticking his head in the corner of the picture.
I noticed how you have your paints in your rack Michael, I read on one of the forums somewhere that you should store your Vallejo paints the other way around as it mixes/keeps better. Whether this is right or not I don't know but I store mine nozzle down now to be on the safe side.
    Cheers,
    Pat.

  7. I look forward to seeing the Celts and Matabele warriors very soon Michael. Such a cheeky Spinosaurus.

@ Silver Whistle - I store mine on the sides with the base showing, simply because it is more convenient for storage and for finding the bottle I need. I don't know if it helps with mixing/keeping.

    1. Thank you Tamsin, made great progress on the Celts, but nothing touched the Matabele sadly. :(

  8. Also at the brushes today. 10mm Ansar for me and jolly dull it is too. SO I hope yours are more inspiring. I look forward to seeing them very soon.
