Zomtober 2013!

And so the madness begins!

Last year, I looked on from the sidelines as a group of likeminded individuals had a huge amount of fun painting up miniatures in a bid to clear their respective painting queues of hoards of the undead.

Well, determined not to miss out this year, and following a period of inactivity on my behalf, I have thrown my hat into the ring so to speak.  The concept in refreshingly simple, paint at least one zombie a week throughout the month of October and post on your blog - just what one needs to get back into the hobby.  My plan is to showcase some of the terrain pieces I've been working on in the earlier part of the week and then working at the weekend to get a zombie or two complete.

This year the event is been kindly coordinated by Pulp Citizen of 'Eclectic Gentleman Tabletop Gamer',  who is running a special 'Zomtober' blog roll so we can all keep up to date with each others' progress.  To go to Pulp Citizen's page detailing everyone who is taking part, click on the button to the right - wish me luck!

  2. May the dread of the Zed be not an obstacle to your monster painting. After all, they are nothing until you paint them!

  3. Oh no not another tremendously talented painter taking part I feel I will go unnoticed. Still one does not paint for the praise of others but for ones own diversion. As such I shall enjoy seeing your excellent brushmanship yet again.

Zomtober is greatly enhanced by your participation sir.

  17. Great idea. Although sadly I could paint a zombie a day and not get my current horde finished...
