Paint Table Saturday#74

Another week gone and a little progress made on the painting front.  Two more Zombicide miniatures completed, just need to varnish them and add lashings of gore!

I also managed to add a couple of layers to some lovely 'Empress Miniatures' Zulu War miniatures that have been neglected for far too long, cracking sculpts representing Colonel Henry Evelyn Wood, a Wood's Irregular warrior and a Swazi Warrior.

In other news, look what arrived on the 1st April!  A huge box of plastic zombie madness and a sudden reawakening for all things Zombicide!  The newly rebuilt and redecorated bay window of 'Awdry Towers' proving to be the perfect spot for a quick photograph before the Saintly Mrs. Awdry had returned from the gym!

  9. The zombiecisde figures are very nice and MUCH prettier than the women around here in Real life. The WIP looks every bit as good as I have come to expect from you. In other words top notch.

  18. You lucky bugger! I've been waiting for my Kickstarter stuff as well. But I figure Finland will be one of the last to receive the goodies as we are quite well tugged away from most of Europe :)

  19. By the time I visited Awdry Towers, the Zombicide pile had been replaced by a rather large easter egg for the Saintly Mrs A. I'm sure Michael has a black hole somewhere in AT into which he hides his lead and plastic purchases!

  23. I am truly impressed with your zombies. Using a blue skin tone opened up so many possibilities in making them 'pop' in bright colours yet remain looking zombie-like; something I failed in my last attempt. Don't mind me but I am going to 'steal' your idea for my next attempt at painting a zombie ^_^ Beautiful, beautiful work.

    1. Do please steal away, I have no doubt that I stole the original idea, probably from that very talented Mr. Finch.
