2nd Punjab Cavalry

A very brief post this morning (with no fooling) to showcase the first of my Punjabi Cavalry, the command group should follow shortly.  Some gently ribbing from a few of my fellow bloggers (Thank you Pete and Millsy!) has seen these chaps push past the London Bobbies to get to the front of the paint queue.  They are from 'Mutineer Miniatures' and were lovely to work on with plenty of detail to snag my brush.

  1. Utterly splendid. I have no use for these figures but having seen them I have a strong desire for them.

  3. Very nice! Love the color on the turbans. I visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar many years ago and got to see guys practicing swordplay. It was nice to see them keeping up the old traditions.

  24. These look great as usual! I'm hoping to expand my Mutiny collection at Salute. I presume you've seen the new Artizan NWF figures...

    1. I'm sure that I'll have to swing by the Mutineer stand as for the Artizan stuff, very, very tempting!

    1. Thank you and yes, I know what you mean, they almost look like toy swords. I wonder if this was a design decision to make them more stable?
