The first Paint Table post, post 'Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge' and this is what is left. I managed to reach my target score thanks mainly to the generous voting of my fellow challengers in the bonus theme rounds. The curious remnants have all got paint on them to a greater or lesser degree so my current plan is to quietly work my way through them.
That said, there is always room for a distraction and so I'm not altogether surprised to see this character slip on to the table!
Plenty more pain tables to admire here.
As Adam West might say, "a feathered felon has found his way onto your paint-table, old chum". Cool looking mini.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mr. Finch, well and truly distracted again!
DeleteLooking forward to see how you will paint the pingwin.
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully eclectic selection!
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff Michael. I have a fine feathered fiend on my table. But I'm tempted to now wait until I can borrow some tips from yourself before I paint the Heroclix mini up :-) I see "Knight Models" are about to produce a mini based on Penguin from "Gotham".
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting batch of figures queued up for painting.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making your target Michael - your brushwork has been superb throughout the Challenge :)
You only got the votes you deserved sir, looking forward to seeing what else will flow from your table
ReplyDeleteIan
A great cluster of eclectic characters, Michael. Have fun, my friend, with your paint and brush.
ReplyDeleteVery well done in the challenge Michael! Some interesting stuff on your table too!
ReplyDeleteAwesome array of figures on the table. Looking forward to seeing Penguin done I have some of his gang on the table as well
ReplyDeletePain tables? Is it really that awful producing the wonders you do? Perhaps this is the definition of suffering for one's art... :-)
ReplyDeleteD**n now I want batman figures. Looking forward to see all this painted up.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting mix of figuresto look forward to seeing completed in due course.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on hitting your target!
ReplyDeleteNice mix in the paint queue, looking forward to seeing them completed.
I see many good figures ahead. And I shall look forward to seeing them get finished.
ReplyDeleteThe penguin character will be interesting to see painted up!
ReplyDeleteNice Mix Michael. That Penguin figure is quite Retro & just adds to nostalgia. Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying the new Gotham, but there was just something about the Top Hat, Tux-tailed, Monocled Penguin that hits the mark!
ReplyDeleteAre you doing a vignette of Winston Churchill visiting the zoo?
ReplyDeleteHa ha - It just had to happen. Batman Begins!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing how Penguin progresses. :)
ReplyDeletePenguin has a relatively boring colour scheme but I am sure you are going to make it work somehow as you always do.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting mix indeed – looking forward to seeing them painted up!
