Paint Table Saturday#14

... a day late, but at least the inspection is over!

Well we made it and although we will not know officially for four weeks, the feeling is that all went well - in fact fact very well indeed!  Unfortunately no painting has taken place in the interim, in fact we may need to dust the work area - once of course I move on the livestock!  Looking forward to catching up with everyone's work over the next couple of days.

As nothing much (nothing at all really) has happened on the painting table, I thought I would share an insight into what is directly behind me when I paint.  The hobby centre of 'Awdry Towers' - courtesy of the Saintly Mrs. Awdry.

As a bit of added fun, what could be cooler than Cowboy dinosaurs?

  1. I thoroughly enjoy having a virtual poke about in people's painting space. Always intriguing. You've got a jolly good coaster I see for starters. Thanks for sharing mate.

    1. Great spot Millsy, a gift from the kind 'Provost Marshal'.

    2. I'm still waiting for Michael to mistake the ubiquitous mug of tea for his cleaning water and take a big swig!

    3. Not happened recently, but I have washed my brushes in Earl Grey!

  2. Of course, you'd have to take a trip to your container at Big Yellow to show us the lead pile that does not exist, no, no, there is no other lead pile.... :)

Arms too short to reach the pistols on the gun belt is, of course, the reason that T. Rex became extinct ;)

    1. Not exactly 'Big Yellow', but I am worried about the structural integrity of the floor boards in the spare room! ;)

  3. Great stuff. Tamsin calls it, I think. Short arms were not an evolutionary advantage in the Wild West.
The only thing that would be more cool would be cowboy dinosaurs ... on a spaceship.
    Cheers,

    1. Thank you J.d., everything has to be ordered otherwise the Saintly Mrs. Awdry revokes the permission to have hobby related materials in the dining room!

    1. Thank you Simon, it's strange I sat down to paint today and just could't get excited about it - I might have to ease myself back into it.

  14. Dinos are a challenge for cowboys; like Martians are for moonshiners!

  15. Well organized room !
    I like a lot the cow-boys-dinos story !

  16. Far too well organised for my liking, I suspect Mrs.'s Awdry's influence.

Now all we need are some pirate ninja cowboy dinos from outer space.

  17. I like the concept of the area behind the painting table! I got nothing done today as I was at my parents in law lifting stuff off the floor for the imminent flooding!

  18. That is an exceedingly well organized supply shelf how can you live with yourself knowing where everything is? Might want to call an exterminator about that Dinosaur problem.
