More as proof of life than an opportunity to show any real progress, I thought that I would take this opportunity to celebrate the 150th edition of 'Paint Table Saturday'. The start of the academic year has been a veritable whirlwind, all is well, just incredibly busy. I have managed to lurk around a couple of the blogs that I follow, but more often than not we have just been collapsing in a heap on our return from work. This has meant absolutely zero progress on the hobby front and I was alarmed to find that my brush cleaning water had evaporated and dust was forming on the table.
So what can I show you? Where there is a Headless Horsemen, whose base has been started along with a Colonel Darnford. I have prepared some characters ahead of Dinovember along with a couple of larger pieces waiting in the wings, but that's about it really. I have managed to add to my ever growing collections of rule sets with Dragon Rampant and Black Ops both landing on the door mat recently - who knows where they will lead, but so far have resisted Congo.
Still it is not all doom and gloom and I am looking forward to catching up with my old chum, the Provost Marshal today as we head off to EuroMilitaire. Finally then, don't forget to visit the rest of the Paint Table Saturday community here.

ReplyDeleteThose pieces of work look very promising I'm looking forward to seeing more of them. Let me know what you think about Black Ops. We tried a while ago and found it very interesting and challenging. A bit complicated unfortunately...

DeleteEvaporated, eh? My brushwater stays covered so it just grows all sorts of exotic bacterial lifeforms during extended absences from the paint-table.

DeleteNow, that dinosaur looks rather familiar...as I'm joining you for Dinovember, I may have to forego the Stegosaurus in favour of other big lizards. Luckily, I have rather a few - might not all be from the same era though, but Pulp or Victorian Lost World's don't always follow logic...
